Get involved
We are always looking for people to get involved and help us.
There are many ways you can help to fundraise for Kivuli Trust – from undertaking sporting challenges such as marathons, triathlons or sponsored walks, to throwing a dinner party, inviting all your friends and pooling the money you would have spent going to the pub or out for dinner!

We have also had many volunteers at the Gilgil Special School over the years, and we would be delighted to help organise this for you if you are interested!
Sponsoring a child
The parents and guardians of children living in the Kivuli hostels are asked to make a small contribution towards the cost of their care. For some parents this is more difficult than others. Each child is assessed on their needs and the needs of the family.
Sponsoring a child costs just £10 a month (which equates to £12.50 with Gift Aid) – that’s less than 40p per day.
As a student at Gilgil Special School a child receives:
- a free education
- books and materials for studies
In addition living in the Kivuli hostels means a child receives:
- shelter and protection during term time
- 3 meals a day/7 days a week
- round the clock love and care of the hostel staff
- additional life skills training
From this relationship you will receive:
- the joy of knowing that you have made a world of difference to the life of your sponsor child.
- updates on your sponsored child and the work of the Kivuli Trust
Please email for further details if you are interested in sponsoring a child.
